What is the CAC?

CAC is a non-profit organization in Sevier County, Arkansas incorporated in 1973 to further cultural and educational opportunities for artist of all ages, and to help create community interest and appreciation for the arts.

As a member you will have the opportunity to receive the following:

Your own artist showcase in the CAC website complete with your biography, examples of work, and contact information for potential buyers.
Monthly CAC meetings at select locations
Opportunity to win Artist of the Month and Artist of the Year.
Free attendance to our annual CAC Christmas Party.
Opportunity to become a CAC Officer.
Network with members to find juried art shows, festivals, and events where you can showcase your talent.
Discount entry fees for our annual juried art show at the King Arts & Crafts Festival.
Make new friends and connections among fellow artists, illustrators, artisans, crafters, photographers, and publishers.
Free or discount attendance fees to live art demonstrations.
Free or discount attendance fees to art conferences with guest speakers.
Voluntary participation in the history making annual King Arts & Crafts Festival.
Opportunities to help others, especially new members.

Another common question is- What is required of me? A- nothing besides paying a fee, but you’ll get out however much you put in. The more you participate, the more fun it is! If you miss meetings, don’t worry, nobody is coming to break your kneecaps!
